The weather is perfect, and we want outdoor furniture, but don’t want to spend lots and lots of money on it. We also don’t want something that looks too perfect and very matchy, matchy. Why does it cost so much, and why does it all look like it landed straight off of an assembly line? Here are some options I’ve found that won’t break the bank. They still look pretty wonderful, too.

Re-nest takes an old bed, and turns it into a bench that I am so smitten with. I’ll take one indoors, and one outside, please.

An Apartment Therapy reader used salvaged pallets to create great wraparound seating for their deck here. Add a few cushions, and several drinks, and you’re in business.

Ready Made shares instructions on building a 2×4 chair. A little boxy, but with soft cushions and the right table, they could work.
